The Public Entity Risk Institute Co-Authors New Book

The Public Entity Risk Institute (PERI) has co-authored a new book titled Managing Risk in Jails with the National Institute of Corrections. This book is FREE and was developed for use by jail administrators and managers, jail supervisors, line staff, jail inspectors, and risk managers.

It presents a risk management program that offers jail administrators a disciplined approach to assessing risks, implementing strategies to manage the risks and how to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies.

This book has been published by the Department of Justice, National Institute of Corrections. It can be downloaded at no charge from the National Institute of Corrections Library at www.nicic.org/library/022666.
